Welcome to the University of Alberta Inter-Varsity WebpageInter-Varsity Christian Fellowship is a group at the U of A for students who want their university experience to be more than just an education. For us that means spending time with friends; whether that is cheering at a Bears game, meeting with a small group or going on a backpacking expedition in the Rockies. We believe the wildest adventures are found in being pushed and challenged through building relationships and in the pursuit of knowing God. CURLING is the name of the game! The opportunity is here! We've all seen and heard about this very Canadian sport but many of us have never actually tried it out. So come join us on Saturday the 21st at 7 PM in front of the Telus Building, and we will head out for a night of fun. I hear some lessons and a brief tutorial are in order so don't let experience deter you! There is a cost however, it will be $10 per person. Curling will end at 9:30 and then the night is free for fun and spontaneous craziness! CAMPUS ON CRIMSON WEEKEND

Join IVCF students from U of A and Grande Prairie Regional College for a weekend at Pioneer Ranch Camp on Crimson Lake (west of Red Deer). It will be a great opportunity to have some fun with friends, new and old, and to engage some real questions with God and each other as we begin a new year at school. There'll be day-trip and half-day trip options on Saturday (climbing, paddling, horseback riding, hiking, scrambling). Cost is $115. School's starting soon! Look for the IVCF during clubs fair to hear about what's going on this year and to connect. Clubs fair is in the Butterdome Monday and Tuesday (Aug 31, Sept 1) and in the main Quad on Wednesday and Thursday (Sept 1&2). New students are *welcome* Look for us "under the tree"!
